SENGKALING RECREATION PARK

Sengkaling recreation park one of holiday spots in malang.
It was first estabilished by a Dutch named Mr. Coolman in 1950. Since University of Muhammadiyah Malang took over the park on May 1 2013, the park becomes the largest shareholder of this recreational park. This recreation park has total area of approximately 9 hectares.

SENGKALING FOOD FESTIVAL

Sengkaling food festival is the largest food corner in East Java. The consept of food festival was appears from the idea to provide a rest area for travellers passing through Batu-Malang to find good place to eat and be relax. Food Festival started to build in February 2014 and officially open in July 15, 2014. It took and outdoor concept so the visitors can have a beautifull scenery at night and it also becomes a convinent place to enjoy food in the evening.

Sengkaling Food Festival use “top up” vouchers system. It means the visitors have to pay any food purchased with vouchers. The voucher has to be first filled with the minimal amount of IDR 50k. There are a students of University Muhammadiyah Malang are given a special granting 10% charge on each voucher. By showing students ID Card, student will also get free-parking facility .
